The college has various departments that are necessary to impart the requisite knowledge to the students.

The department is fully equipped with a large Dissection Theatre (Gross Anatomy Lab), Histology Lab and an excellent Museum with curator section.

This comprises of experimental physiology (Amphibian and Mammalian) lab, Haematology Lab, Human and Clinical Physiology lab. It has facilities for clinical investigations for patients referred from the hospital.

The department has a well-equipped hospital diagnostic service lab with the most modern, computer automated instruments and equipment to carry out routine and many special biochemical investigations. The venture has taken care of the immediate and future research requirements.

The department accommodates three laboratories- Experimental Pharmacology, Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacology – and a well-organized Museum.

An important wing, this department takes care of the routine and regular activities including blood banking. Its museum houses various anatomical structures and mounted specimens. The department is equipped with Histopathology, Haematology, Cytology and Clinical Pathology labs that help in providing state-of-the-art diagnostic services at the teaching hospitals.

Apart from providing routine diagnostic services, serology and culture, it has anaerobic, virology, serology and parasitology labs and provides services to the outpatients in analyzing samples.

The college is an independent entity in the vicinity and is self-dependent in terms of power and other infrastructure needs. A team of maintenance engineers and assistants will be at round-the-clock work.

The specialities in the hospital includes General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dentistry, Orthopaedic, Physiotherapy, Radiology, and more. Each department is self-contained with senior and junior doctors, attendant Para-medical personnel and sophisticated diagnostic and clinical equipment.

The department of emergency medicine is a 24/7 service. The department is provided with an Immediate Critical Care area, support systems such as Ventilators, Emergency Operation Theatre, Ambulance, etc.and is strategically located for quick access by patients.

The hospital has 10 OTs that are geared to meet the acute challenges. Latest Theatre Lighting System, Surgical Equipment, effective air conditioning, etc. are part of this sophisticated facility.

The 50-bed ICU, next to the OT has bedside facilities to monitor the patients’ health like B.P., Pulse, Heart and Rhythm with cardiac resuscitation equipment.

The hospital’s structure, the innovative design provides an efficient healing place for outpatients. While the main reception is designed for new registration, every department has its own outpatient diagnosis area, fully equipped for specific needs.
