                                    Welcome to AtIS-07
   

       Rapid technological advances are resulting in the development of systems that can perceive, reason, analyze, learn, adapt, and self-organize. Such systems will certainly have great economic, environmental and social impact. To further the development of intelligent systems, Peoples’ Education Society (PES) is setting up a  Centre for Intelligent Systems with inputs and support

  from organizations/persons with a similar agenda, and with collaborations from Universities in India and abroad.

         Prof. Kumpati S. Narendra, Yale University, is the Mentor of the Centre. The interdisciplinary centre aims to form a strong core group comprising key persons from academia, R&D laboratories and industries. It is expected that it become a global competence centre that is also sensitized to the Indian context.
