Welcome
The
widespread use of Mobile communication and
networking worldwide has spurned an
unprecedented growth in market and innovation.
We see a number of MNCs, Research
organizations, institutes worldwide pouring
billions of dollars in research and
development. The area also provides enormous
opportunities for innovations, training,
conference activities. The need for carrying
out research and development activities in this
area need not be stressed.
The
Mobile communication and Networking Center of
Excellence(MCNC) is set up at PESIT dept of
Information Science and Engineering. The MCNC
is expected to provide the leadership in
research and development activities in the
chosen fields of Mobile communication and
Networking. MCNC will build expertise by
training the interested faculty and students.
It will set up a state of the art Technology
and Innovation Lab ( TI- Lab). It will create
infrastructure to carry out innovation. MCNC
will foster relations with industry, research
organizations and institutes. It will organize
international conferences, workshops and
corporate training programs.

MCNC Vision
To become a global leader in
research, training and innovation in the areas
of mobile communication and networking by
setting up a center of excellence consisting of
state of the art lab, knowledge bank, expertise
and industry-center collaborations.

technology and innovation lab (TI Lab)

knowledge bank consisting of books, papers,
digital libraries
- conduct research,
publish reports/papers/books
- carry out
industry projects, Student Projects of
Interest such as Micromouse

Workshops such as IASW
and GATE Workshop useful for
students
