Our faculty is our most precious resource and one of the three pillars on which PES rests (the other two are students and infrastructure). Our faculty members develop and deliver the educational programs that bring excellent students to PES in the first place. Teachers at PES have impeccable qualifications, extensive expertise and experience in their chosen fields and an overriding commitment to the welfare of their students. In today’s relentlessly knowledge-driven world, teaching is also about learning. The PES culture of continuous improvement impacts teachers as much as it does students. We ensure we are responsive to faculty needs and constantly find ways to address and provide direction for future teaching and learning innovations. Our teachers are constantly given opportunities and platforms to update their skills and stay in touch with new developments. The core faculty is enhanced by visiting experts, from both academic and corporate life. In fact, time and again, our faculty has proven its ability to adapt and stay on top of today’s rapidly changing technologies. Faculty involvement at PES goes far beyond academics and influences every aspect of campus life. In addition to their teaching duties, faculty members guide and mentor students, participating with enthusiasm in their academic, research and sports / cultural pursuits. This atmosphere of inspired teaching and engaged learning fosters close bonds between the faculty and student community. In fact, we’ve found that the majority of students continue to stay in touch with their teachers – calling for advice or to share success from all corners of the globe.
