Every martyr who has led their life for the sake of the country has paid a great sacrifice. Every citizen of the country owes a huge give away to them. In this regard the least we could do is that to pay our gratitude and show our respect to their families and sincerely do something for them, ever if it is a small service.

Students of PES University have taken this initiative of identifying these families, invite them and felicitate them. Every year this is a mega event conducted for the sake of returning gratitude to these martyr families under the program SAMARPANA. Samarpana has evolved to be one unique program where every year identified 10-15 Martyr families are called and recognized for their sacrifices. A group of students would stay with them for 3 days taking care of their needs, giving them a Homely feeling and connect with them with their modest Hospitality.

On the day of the event, every family is welcomed, felicitated by one of the renowned guests by paying respect and helping them financially. There is also an effort to solve any of their legal issues if possible, by the legal consultants. In this time span every family is accompanied by students taking care of their all-day needs, interact with them, have food together like a family.

The next day the families are taken to several visiting places of the Bengaluru city helping them to build new memories.

On the final day there are sessions held for Women Empowerment team, encouraging and inspiring them to take their important upcoming life decisions. Followed by this there will be a Valedictory and sending them off with all love and respect.
